Refurbishment of 70+ year old hydroelectric power plant
Electrical machine analysis and design support for ageing hydro-generator lifetime extension.

This project supported the lifetime extension of ageing hydroelectric generators. Contributions included efficiency improvement of approximately 0.2 percent, corresponding to around 100 kW loss reduction, support for conversion from diamond coils to Roebel bars, and updates to generator slot number and geometry.
